General Terms

 

These terms and conditions govern the use of the site We Maid it. This site is owned and operated by We Maid it. This site is for a cleaning company that offers cleaning services. By using this site, you indicate that you have read and understand these terms and conditions and agree to abide by them at all times. You also indicate that you abide by all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in the web site wemaidit.com.au are protected by applicable copyright and trade mark law.

 

Intellectual Property

 

All content published and made available on our site is the property of We Maid It and the site's creators. This includes, but is not limited to images, texts, logos, documents, downloadable files and anything that contributes to the composition of our site. 

Limitations

In no event shall We Maid it be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption,) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on We Maid It's website. 

Consumer Protection Law

Where the Australian Consumer Law, Schedule 2, Competition and Consumer Act 2010, or any other consumer protection in your jurisdiction applies and cannot be excluded, these Terms and Conditions will not limit your consumer rights and remedies under that legislation. These Terms and Conditions will be read subject to the mandatory provisions of that legislation. If there is a conflict between these Terms and Conditions and that legislation, the mandatory provisions will apply. 

Limitation of Liability

We Maid It and all our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries and affiliates will not be held liable for any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal fees from your use on this site. 

Indemnity

Except where prohibited by law, by using this site, you indemnify and hold harmless We Maid It and all our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries and affiliates will not be held liable for any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal fees arising from use of this site or your violation of these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria. 

Changes

The Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time in order to maintain compliance with the law and to reflect any changes to the way with operate this site and the way we expect users to behave on our site. By using this site you are agreeing to be bound by the then current Terms and Conditions of use. 

Payment

Payment is due within 24 hours of receipt of the invoice for the services. Failure to pay within 24 hours may result in referral to a collection agency. In the event where your overdue account is referred to a collection agency and/or law firm, you will be liable for all costs which would be incurred as if the debt is collected in full, including legal demand costs.

Cancellation Policy

Services cancelled after 6pm on the day before the booking, will incur a $50 fee. Services cancelled on the day of the service, incur 50% of the booking fee. This fee is required to cover the minimum cost for our maids. This fee may be lowered at our discretion, if evidence can be shown the cancelllation arose from an emergency. 

Damage

Accidents can happen and in the rare instance one of our maids causes damage to property during the service, you must contact us withing 24 hours of the service detailing the documenting the damage. If the damage is accepted as negliegence on our part, we will repair and/or replace the damaged item. We may seek to obtain up to three quotes for repair/replacement costs and all receipts and proof of payment must be provided to us within 30 days of the complaint being lodged. 

No Show/Delays

Our maids will wait up to 15 mintutes after the commencement of the booking. We will attempt to contact you via phone, however, if our maids are not able to gain access to the premises to complete the service within that 15 minute period, 50% of the booking fee will be payable. 

Condition of Property

In the event the condition of your property is such that the standard time allocated to the clean is not sufficient, we will call you to discuss options. Similarly, if the property is cluttered, causing difficulties for our maids to thoroughly clean, this will be relayed to you at the time of your service. We reserve the right to cancel our service if your property is deemed hazordous or unsafe for our maids. 

Pets

Please advise us at the time of booking if you have any pets inside your premises. This will assist us in allocating maids who do not have allergies or other issues with animals. Please also ensure your pet is contained, either in a room that is not to be cleaned or external to the premises, to avoid service disruption.
